My field experience 1 could not have gone any better. I was very happy to learn from my cooperating teachers and supervisors that they all agreed I have picked the right profession. My passion speaks for itself and it is heartwarming to know it is so easily picked up on. I had the chance to observe many different teachers and their different teaching approaches. I walk away with another valuable experience and an enriched knowledge.

This is the first book I read and animated to students. One of my cooperating teacher's presented me with the opportunity to take over her story telling time. This is the first book I read and animated to students. One of my cooperating teacher's presented me with the opportunity to take over her story telling time. I took that opportunity with great confidence as it is a great step in the direction of instructing a lesson. It is significant as for me it was a beginning to becoming a teacher. I was able to prepare in advance and plan how I would execute the story. I am happy with the outcome and grateful for the experience.

There is great importance to above mentioned picture. This is the school that I completed my first field experience at. I was quite nostalgic as it was my very own elementary school. The school community was nothing but welcoming and friendly. Furthermore the school community acted in ethical accordance towards myself and the other student teachers. It felt like we were part of the team.
